WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING & PACKAGING PROCESS? 

Open Edition Micro-Crystal Prints:

These artworks are printed, packaged and shipped directly to you from my print partner using the shipping method you selected when you placed the order. Orders are shipped usually within 3-5 business days. You should receive your order within 7-10 days.

If you wish for me to sign your purchased prints, shipping will take a bit longer. Your art will be sent to me first. I’ll signed, repackaged, and send the artwork to you.  See DO YOU SIGN YOUR ART?

Original Acrylics and Jewelry:

Once I receive your order, I’ll typically package and ship the art to you in 2-3 days. Each original acrylic will come with a certificate of authenticity. Each piece of jewelry will have a documentation card, listing the type of crystal and artwork’s name, if published.

Limited Edition Micro-Crystal Prints:

Because of their size, high quality and cost, the large limited edition framed aluminum prints are created when purchased, boxed securely in sturdy cardboard and sent to me first for quality review and signature. After I have completed a quality check, I sign, repackaged, include a certificate of authenticity and send your art to you. Total elapsed time is typically 7-10 business days for continental US destinations, longer for non-continental US and further away destinations. Artwork larger than 24”x36” are sent in wooden crates.

Insurance:

All the original artworks are shipped insured for the value of the sale. The shipping cost includes the insurance.

WHAT SHIPPING CARRIERS DO YOU USE?

I typically use FedEx, UPS or USPS depending on the size, shape and weight of the artwork. I’ll email you the package’s tracking number and estimated arrival time. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you might have throughout the process.

WHATS THE TYPICAL SHIPPING TIME?

Shipping time varies depending on carrier. USA destinations typically takes 2-3 business days. International shipping times usually take from 5 -7 business days, depending on artworks final destination. Sometimes custom policies can impact delivery dates.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE ART ARRIVES DAMAGED?

Although we take a lot of precautions, things do happen during shipment. If your purchase arrives damaged, save all of the packaging and contact me immediately. We will work it out.

WHAT IS MY RETURN/EXCHANGE/REFUND POLICY?  

Cancellation:

You may cancel you open or limited edition print order and receive a full refund as long as your order has not gone into production. The production times vary so contact me immediately by email at contact@carolroullardart.com. Please note, production can start anywhere from an hour after receiving your order to several days depending on the time you place your order, Once an order has been processed, it cannot be returned. 

Damaged:

I will provide a no charge replacement or refund for any quality issues. I may request to have the order returned to me and will refund the return shipment cost. I do not provide a refund based on customer preference. In the event an item is damaged in shipping, please take photo(s) prior to opening the package so I can file an insurance claim with the shipping carrier. Send your photo(s) to me at contact@carolroullardart.com.

Returns/Exchange:

I’m confident you will be happy with your purchase! If you are not for any reason, you have 7 elapsed days to return the artwork in its original package. You must notify me via email or phone within this 7 day period, so I’m aware that the return will be coming. I will refund the total amount you spent within 3 business days of receiving the artwork, minus any return shipping costs I incur. You may also exchange your original acrylic or jewelry for another piece of equal or lesser value.  Note: Extra shipping charges may apply for exchanged artwork.

HAS COVID-19 AFFECTED MY SHIPPING? 

As of April 1, production and delivery is still operational from my print partners. They are closely following CDC safety guidelines and are operating with minimal staff. Your order may take a little longer than usual. Once it arrives, please practice smart handling just like you would with any delivery these days.

CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE MICRO-CRYSTAL PRINT SIZES IF I DON’T SEE WHAT I NEED ON THE WEBSITE?


Yes. I selected sizes based on the picture’s ratio of width to height. If you are interested in a print size not listed,  let me know and I’ll be happy to send you an individual quote. Sometimes the image is cropped to the requested size, which will remove part of the photograph.  I’lll be happy to work with you to find a good balance while still maintaining my artistic vision.

DO YOU SIGN YOUR ART?

Yes. I sign my original acrylic and limited edition art on the back of each piece. If part of a limited edition, the edition number will also be added to the back. My art is mainly abstract. I position my signature according to the artwork’s orientation I like. But I know that might not be the same for the new owner. Signing the back gives you the opportunity to hang my artwork how it best suits you. Heck, you can change it periodically to have a refreshed look on the room.

When you order an open edition micro-crystal print, it is automatically printed and sent to you directly, unsigned. For an additional fee, you can have me sign the art first. Contact me before you place the order and we can work together to make the arrangements.

CAN I SEND YOU PHOTOS OF YOUR ART HANGING IN MY HOME/OFFICE?

YES! Please do! I always love seeing where my art resides. I also like hearing from you about what you see in my art. I’ve heard some very rewarding comments over the years. Also, please let me know if it’s okay for me to repost your picture(s) and comments on my social media.

CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH OTHER CHEMICALS?

Yes and No. First, not all chemicals will crystalize. Of those that do, not all of them display color with polarized light. And it goes further, if they crystalize and display color, they might not be photogenic, in other words, nothing artsy about them.

One more criteria, and it is important. I only work with legal chemicals.

DO YOU DO COMMISSIONS?

Yes. Here are some particulars.

Micro-Crystal:

These images are dependent on the conditions mentioned in CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH OTHER CHEMICALS? Maybe you work for a pharmaceutical company or you think it would be cool to have crystal pictures of chemicals you (legally) work with. It can be a lot of work to be commissioned for new micro-crystal images. I require an upfront commission fee to cover the additional work. The amount is determined based on your request. Contact me and we can discuss it further,

Original Fluid Acrylics:

You might want a specific color scheme, or need a different size than what I have available. I can work to create that special “just for you” piece of art. One thing to keep in mind, fluid acrylics are not like painting a picture. There is always a level of unknown when painting in this medium. When commissioned, we’ll work together on the colors and some structure, but the final outcome is not predetermine. We will also work on the art’s price prior to the start of the work.

Jewelry:

Tell me what you want and if possible, I will create it for you. I charge an additional $5 per piece or per pendant and earrings set.
