Gardens of the World Solo Exhibit
My art is currently on display at two locations in Southern California: Gardens of the World and Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center.
I’m very excited to announce my exhibit of about 15 pieces in the Resource Center at the Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks. The exhibit runs from September 26th through November 5th.
It is a beautiful location in Thousand Oaks at 2001 Thousand Oaks Boulevard Thousand Oaks, CA 92162. The Gardens are open Tuesday through Sunday 9:00am to 4:30pm and closed Mondays, most national holidays and during inclement weather. There is limited parking at the Gardens of the World, however additional parking is available on Thousand Oaks Boulevard or across the street at the Civic Arts Plaza. There is a crosswalk and pedestrian entrance at Dallas Drive to enter the Gardens.
It took me a couple of hours to do the installation. The top right has the pieces laid out and the next three show them hung on the walls. I even heard back from someone the first day the exhibit was open that they noticed how the change in natural light made each piece looked different from when they arrived at the Gardens and looked again before they left. So if you get a chance to see visit the Gardens try going through the Resource Center when you first get there and right before you leave.
In addition, “Frozen Waves” is in a Santa Barbara Art Association group show at the Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center in Santa Barbara. The piece was accepted not only into the show but was selected to be available for the show’s publicity.
The show runs through October 24th. The JCC is location at 524 Chapala Street in Santa Barbara. The Center is open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Friday from 9am to 3pm and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Just a heads up I do have another show scheduled from Oct. 29th through Dec 2nd. at Gallery 113 location at La Arcada Court, 1114 State Street in Santa Barbara. My art will be upstairs in the Mezzanine. I’m still working out which pieces I will have on exhibit.
As always I love hearing from you. There is a book for comments at the Gardens of the World. Please leave me your impressions. And/or feel free to comment on my blog post, send me an email or reach out to me at 805.279.6977
