CAROL ROULLARD ART FEATURED IN GALLERY 621 MICROCOSMOS SHOW
Carol Roullard’s micro-crystal fine art photography has been juried into Gallery 621’s MICROCOSMOS Show going on now.
MOORPARK, CA – October 30, 2015 – Artist Carol Roullard is participating in Gallery 621’s juried MICROCOSMOS show. Two pieces of the artist’s micro-crystal fine art photography, “Ray of Hope” and “River of Light,” are currently on display in the MICROCOSMOS show at the Benicia, California gallery.
The show began October 29th and will run through November 29th. The public reception will be held on Saturday, November 14th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Gallery 621 is open Thursday through Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.
“I’m honored to have two of my favorite pieces chosen to be part of Gallery 621’s MICROCOSMOS art show,” says Artist Carol Roullard. “I love Benicia so I’m especially thrilled to have another reason to return to show my art in their contemporary art gallery.”
Artist Carol Roullard combines chemistry, micrography and photography to create remarkably unique fine art. Carol’s work challenges viewers to interpret new worlds, fantastic landscapes, sublime seascapes and other unanticipated sights. “The entire process of creating my micro-crystal art truly excites me; from growing the crystals to witnessing the awe in people’s expressions when viewing a piece for the first time,” says Ms. Roullard. “Everyone sees something different. People are captivated by the abstract but inexplicably familiar shapes and structures in the crystal formations.”

About Carol Roullard
Carol Roullard is an artist and author. Currently, she has focused her artistic skills towards creating micro-crystal fine art photography and designing her wearable art clothing line. Using a high-powered microscope and polarized light Ms. Roullard finds unique images that will never occur again in nature. In addition, she has co-authored eight photography-related books with her husband, Dr. Brian Matsumoto, and they are currently working on their ninth book together.
